What about an Inspiron E1505 Dual Core, with 256MB ATI MOBILITY RADEON X1400 HyperMemory Intel Core Duo processor T2300E (2MB Cache/1.66GHz/667MH)?

I need something cheap, but something that will run GW good w/no lag. Anyone else have any ideas?

Can't you build a PC yourself? That's usually way cheaper then buying one that's already made.

I need a new PC too when I will be living in the States.. can't take my PC with me :\

In other words.. I am bored..

What's the rest up to?

You're better off with a PC than a lappy if you want to play GW.

Buy the parts from newegg or whatever, build the computer yourself and you'll save yourself a lot of money. Good luck building a laptop yourself, though

I agree there
labtops tend to heat quicker than desktops
hmm it's a shame they cram so much into so little amount of space...

People are always coplaining about the HD in inspirons, but then again i'm not too familiar with "acer" brand either.

Ok well...to my surprise I actually bought my laptop today And it's sitting in my room charging the battery as we speak.

But I have a final question for you all...how good do you think GW is going to run on...

ATI Radeon Xpress 200M
2048MB DDR SDRAM memory
120GB hard drive
128 video memory
2GHz

I hope you all approve lol..I REEEEEEALLY do.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and I forgot..I don't have a kidney infection, I just have a REALLY bad urinary track infection.. So be nice to me.

*gently pokes nine* Anyway I'm not well read on the moblie vid cards... If that Radeon would be on the same line as a 9000 series radeon then you're fine graphics wise... everything else looks good as gold.

Long drive tomorrow ftl.

It's going to suck driving for 4 and a half hours alone in a car with a barely working radio that likes to not work most of the time.

Naw, the electrical is whats causing the radio to go crap... And I dont drive it enough to bother with putting a new radio in... I'll most likely listen to my cd player on the way...

At least I'm not driving on Monday... 8 hour drives suck!

Well with one door crippled, it makes it more of a challenge to get around in the cab... Though I already have the dash off... Running new wires to the speakers and such would suck... Not worth the time and effort for most likely not being able to drive it after October 15th anyway.

Sorry to ruin this discussion, but I have a little debate going on with a friend.

Which is more grammatical:
1- Too bad he smokes.
2- To bad he smokes.

Thank you for your time.

Heya Nine, I found that a PNY-modded 6600 works extremely well on GW if you're opting for a computer, with little slowdown (except towns and the Crystal Caves) before I upgraded it on my DESKTOP.

The Intel IGP915 might work a bit faster than my laptop spec, but if you have a 1GB RAM installed, you can get 128MB of shared video memory. But you will NOT have good compatibility on any form of Vista, so I'd suggest a 9250+ for a radeon or an OC 5500 or better for Nvidia. You'll be able to play it with good graphics and effects and little slowdown.

However, if you're ME... Keep 1GB of ram and shell out for the 7900GT (or GTX if you can) and watch your games flow!

Judging by your specs, I think that your laptop will work fine, but KEEP IT VENTILATED! otherwise you'll lose your session unexpectedly, like my crappy 7000AGP Radeon Motherboard....
